Will you blame the Indian bureaucrats or the thugs like Lallu, Mulayam, Mayawati, Sibbu etc for the inefficiency in bureaucracy? These rogues do not allow the bureaucrats to work and misuse and abuse them through their goons.

There is no surprise or shocking, Indian bureaucracy is 100 % corrupted in World and will never change.Worst is yet to come and I as a Indian Hindu never feel guilty or ashamed for it, as people voted to Cong led by catholic foreigner Soniya forgetting their own leader.Let them suffer more.

Politicians are fully responsible for this. Bureaucrats work under their guidance. If politicians are willing to curb the corruption it will take no time.

Does this survey considers India as only nation in Asia. what about Pak and B'deh in list.There is no country free from bureaucracy problems. what is happening in UK these days? Ministers have to resign due to their alleged involvement in ministers expenses scandle.

I am not surprised....the way our govt offices works is a pain and that we all know very well.

But we all knew this didn't we? That's is the reason why we Indians hate to visit govt offices because everyone knows that once you have some work, it will be completed in ages...

They are not inefficient but the politicians interfering in their work have made them so. Basically, Indian people are hard working people and so are the officers. Politicians never allow bureaucrats to work freely.

Its a pain and all of us have gone habitual of it. We are not ready to get out of this mess. Every one wants his work to be done in one way or other. Nobody tries to register even a dissent against this.
